All children and youth in the church and wider community are invited to attend. Come out, make some new friends, and learn about the love of God! Meeting begins promptly at 7pm and will end at 9pm.
Saturday, February 11, 2012 HIV/AIDS Testing & Counseling 10:00a - 4:00p Circle of Care will be onsite to provide free, confidential rapid HIV testing in 20 minutes or less. Saturday, February 18, 2012 NEW MEMBERS CLASS! Calling all NEW MEMBERS or anyone who has yet to complete New Members Class! A 1-day class will be held from 10a-3p at the church. Please bring your lunch with you because we will work through the lunch hour. Then, on Sunday, February 26th, those who complete the class will be extended the Right Hand of Fellowship and formally welcomed into the church body as a full member of the congregation. ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE at 7:00p
This year we will observe Ash Wednesday with Rev. Cean James and our brothers and sisters at Grace Christian Fellowship, located at 6208 Grays Avenue (19142). There will be an imposition of ashes during this service. Please note that there will be no Prayer or Bible Study on this date or throughout the Lenten season. Bible study will resume on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
Ash Wednesday marks the start of the Lenten season, which begins 40 days – or 6 weeks – prior to Easter. Lent is a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. Living Water members are encouraged to participate in the Daniel Fast during the Lenten season. If you have any questions about this service or the fast, please contact Bishop Royster.

Stroehmann Bakeries Walk+Run Against Hunger CALLING ALL WALKERS!!!! Living Water will once again participate in the 2012 Stroehmann Bakeries Walk+Run Against Hunger! Our fundraising goal this year is $1,150. To join our team, please see either DIT Myesha Boyd or DIT Marsha Greene. This event will take place at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, located at 2600 Ben Franklin Parkway.
The couse is 5K (3.1 miles) and will span Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Start training today!
